Meet Emily Brukx, a junior at Clemson University majoring in Marketing with a minor in Travel and Tourism. With a long-standing interest in photography, video production, and editing, Emily gravitated toward social media early on. She has spent years building her creative voice across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram—starting with personal content and eventually expanding into brand-focused work with ApartmentsForClemson.
When she's away from campus, Emily is often exploring new places. This past spring, she studied abroad through Semester at Sea, traveling to 10 countries throughout Asia, Africa, and Europe while completing her college coursework onboard. Following the program, she spent six weeks working at a hostel in Amsterdam, where she gained hands-on experience in hospitality and tourism while immersing herself in different cultures. These experiences continue to influence her outlook and inspire her creative approach.
On campus, Emily is an active member of the Pi Beta Phi SC Beta chapter and is continually seeking leadership opportunities. She also stays connected to her athletic background as a member of the Clemson Club Swim Team, bringing teamwork, focus, and enthusiasm into all areas of her life.
Whether she's creating video content, traveling internationally, capturing moments behind the camera, or meeting new people, Emily approaches everything with energy and positivity. She's excited to bring that same passion to her role with ApartmentsForClemson—helping students explore housing options, discover local favorites, and feel confident finding their place within the Clemson community through engaging, authentic content.
