Sailing club at Clemson University is a popular program for its fun on Lake Hartwell!

Get out of your Clemson Apartment and have some Fun.

Feel stuck in your CU apartment with nothing fun to do? At Clemson University, student-run organizations and clubs play a pivotal role in campus culture, offering students the opportunity to connect with peers, explore new interests, and have transformative experiences. Outside of Greek life, these clubs drive much of the campus activity and create a dynamic environment through ongoing events and initiatives. From Central Spirit to the Sailing Club, there is something to offer for every Tiger coming to campus.

CU Tiger Prowl

All of these organizations are represented at the Clemson University Tiger Prowl every Fall and Spring semesters. Tiger Prowl consists of every club and organization on campus in one area to meet potential new members. Fall Tiger Prowl takes place inside Memorial Stadium, where every club on campus comes together to recruit new members and share the love of their club. In the Hendrix student center, Spring Tiger Prowl looks to add new members to their already thriving organizations. This allows students the opportunity to try something new, make friends, and have fun during every semester!

Club Sports

Clemson Sailing Club PracticeI believe club sports are the best way to get involved and have some fun as a student at Clemson. As a member of the Clemson University Sailing Club, I have found lifelong friends and a community that feels like home. Sailing offers a variety of social events, numerous leadership opportunities, and sailing programs tailored to all skill levels and experiences all located on Lake Hartwell. Some other club sports include wrestling, soccer, water skiing, hockey, crew, volleyball, and even bass fishing! My favorite part about club sports is the inclusivity of all ranges of talent and commitment.

Each club fosters a tight-knit community fueled by passion, dedication, and a genuine love for their sport. Through the Club Sports Association, all club sports unite to create a vibrant, supportive community centered around a shared love of athletics at Clemson. Being a part of both organizations has been invaluable to my experience at Clemson. I would suggest everyone join a club sport, with or without experience!

School and Service Clubs

School and service clubs comprise a large part of the Clemson Club community. With a prideful school body, many students find it fun to spread their love of Clemson University with others. This is possible through organizations such as CUGA (Clemson Univeristy Guides Association), SAC (Student Alumni Council), CU Central Spirit, and even the CHANGE club that promotes ethics on campus. Service is another crucial part of the Clemson community and its impact on the world. Clemson Miracle helps fundraise for Primsa Health through multiple initiatives on campus. The ClemsonLIFE program also provides ample opportunities to give back to the community and meet amazing students. Additionally, religious organizations from every background participate in service on-campus and off-campus.

Opportunities near campus

If you are trying to leave your Clemson off-campus apartment to do something fun, look no further than joining a club at Clemson. Whether academic, service-oriented, or just for fun, there is a club for almost anything on campus. With over 400 clubs and organizations, there is something to meet everyone's desires and needs at Clemson University. From professional business organizations to the Catan Club, the club community at Clemson is both diverse and thriving.
